Manga review: Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink Omnibus

This manga is a collection of yuri stories by Milk Morinaga. I’ve seen some bad yuri and I’ve seen some good ones. This one was definitely a good one. The couples were nice and not forced, the art was cute, and the plot was interesting. Although I was kind of annoyed when I was reading it though. I don’t really read collections of stories, but I got used to it, and then it only focused on the couple Nana and Hitomi (for like, six chapters). And then when I started caring about them, they switched back to the short stories. I was so confused about the random order, before I read the afterward and the author said they wrote the rest of Nana & Hitomi’s story later. When they published the complete collection, I wish they would have had all the short stories first, and then bulk of Nana & Hitomi’s later or vice versa. While the order of the book bothered me, it was still good. Try it out if you like yuri or want to give it a try.

Light Novel review: Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen omnibus volume 1

Introduction

The English version of the light novels was in omnibus form, which is two books in one. I have been reading the Seraph of the End mangas since the summer, so I was really excited when I heard about the light novel getting an English release. Anyways, if you’re reading this, I really hope you already read the book and aren’t just trying to see if it’s worth it (because spoilers). If you’re the latter, then you can scroll down to see my likes and dislikes.
